Hi, I’m Cam Gasser and I’m graduating with a major in Interior Architecture and Design with minors in Furniture, Fine Arts, and Art History. As a designer, my goal is to create spaces that bring the feeling of nature back into our lives. If we shrunk human evolution down to 24 hours, we’ve been living in built interiors for just 8.6 seconds. In my architecture and thesis project, I looked at nature as an influence to structure to create an environment that triggers familiarity and a sense of security as well as feelings of historical legitimacy in human perception.
