New Studio Practice: Fine Arts

I consider myself to be a multidisciplinary artist. I have experience working with multiple mediums and I lean towards making work about my personal life and experiences. I get my inspiration from my own memories, childhood, my culture and from other artists as well. Growing up as a Mexican/American girl I had the honor of experiencing two different cultures and I love showing that through my art. Although I am mostly working with painting and photography for the moment, I usually choose the medium I'll be using based on what I am using as inspiration. I incorporate a lot of connections between my work and my inspirations resulting in my work often being a reflection of my inspirations.
