Darius Agard

New Studio Practice: Fine Arts

Darius Agard was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, but is currently living and making work in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a multidisciplinary artist working with various media such as drawing, painting, and digital and physical collage. His work reflects on personal experiences of growing up in a predominantly white neighborhood as a white passing mixed man, to moving to a predominantly black neighborhood now as an adult - and how those spaces have shaped and influenced his identity.
