JIG
Dance is liberating, Dance is collaborative, Dance is embarrassing. JIG is an app that makes dance instruction accessible to low-income teens from the comfort of their own space. The Americans for the Arts foundation found that students of color have half the access to arts education than their white peers and that students with an arts education are five times more likely to graduate high school. Through subscription-based mobile learning, GenZ is given the opportunity to explore professional choreography at an affordable price. By sharing their progress with each other, they’ll also be building a community.
