ReBrewed Furniture
ReBrewed Furniture creates dining and bar furniture made from the excess spent grain from local Milwaukee breweries. The process begins with picking up the spent grain from local breweries and processing it with water, heat, and pressure to turn it into sheets of material. Then, cutting pieces of furniture out of those sheets with a CNC router. This process keeps the spent grain from ever ending up in a landfill, prevents breweries from paying people to remove their spent grain, and reduces current virgin material consumption. The resulting end products are functional, ergonomic, compostable, and recyclable.
