New Studio Practice: Fine Arts

In exploring themes of mortality, human experience, and internal struggle, I often find myself connecting with the natural world. As a multidisciplinary artist, I typically work in painting, drawing, and clay sculpture, but my work does not stray far from the influence of real-life inspirations My own experiences combined with my affinity for animals have led me to dissect my perspectives on human and animal relationships, using animals as metaphors for human experiences. I have always been attracted to the morbid and macabre; taxidermy, folklore, the cyclical nature of death, and my own personal experiences dictate my body of work.
