My practice is built on intuition and exploration with each new piece influencing and introducing the other. I work with objects and concepts that are universally known or easily understood; chain, game pieces, and common experiences. With few exceptions, I utilize rudimentary sculpture techniques including aluminum casting, both mig and tig welding, and basic woodworking. These processes are not based on quick decisions; this allows me to focus on the physical and aesthetic elements of the work. Leaving the conceptual aspects open-ended and always changing, keeping me curious and constantly questioning.
