Pivot’s goal is to help students with ADHD overcome personal obstacles in order to improve academic performance. In the past decade alone diagnoses for ADHD have increased by 40%. This condition alters executive functioning making those affected 5 times more likely to need special education services. Students with ADHD often struggle with initiating and following through with assignments, remembering tasks, and managing or sustaining their mental efforts. Pivot is a cross-media service that assists parents and teachers in helping kids with ADHD delegate their behavioral and cognitive issues to better organize, prioritize, and build structure into their everyday school routine.
