Borderwave

I created Borderwave because of the digital burnout of my college experience. There is so much time spent looking at screens; I wanted to work on, and provide, hand-crafted materials that are tangible. After graduating, I will be working full time for Kohl’s as an Assistant Apparel Artist, but my previous experience as a muralist is what inspired painting this surfboard. I was a paid mural apprentice at Quad City Arts for 6 years. Besides art, I also really care about and enjoy being in nature, which is why all illustrated animals in this collection are endangered or threatened species.
